Tenugui

In shibari, it is common to use Japanese hand towels known as tenugui as blindfolds, gags and to bundle equipment (furoshiki/wrapping cloths). We sell tenugui and furoshiki style fabric in a range of fabrics and sizes including the traditional relief dyed with indigo.

 

All our tenugui have raw cut edges so will fray over time. All patterned fabric is made in Japan, some plain fabrics will not be from Japan.
